Oculoplastic surgery is a specialized discipline within the broader specialty of ophthalmology that incorporates cosmetic and reconstructive surgery of the structures of the face associated with the eyes and vision.

Central Maryland Oculoplastic Consultants is the only ophthalmic plastic surgery practice in Frederick County and serves the western and central Maryland counties and the counties of the eastern West Virginia panhandle and south central Pennsylvania.

We provide office consultation both by referral and by direct patient scheduled appointments.

Central Maryland Oculoplastic Consultants provides surgical services both in the office and through local surgical centers. The office is equipped with the state-of-the-art Ellman Surgitron 4.0 MHz radio frequency surgical unit which allows safe and efficient treatments of many eye and eyelid disorders with the convenience of a private office environment.

We work in cooperation with many specialists both in this community and with the academic hospitals in Maryland and Washington, D.C. where the participation of physicians of multiple disciplines is needed for the best possible outcome of a patient's clinical problem.

For non-cosmetic services, Central Maryland Oculoplastic Consultants participate with all of the common commercial insurers in the area and with Medicare. Our list of commercial insurers with which we participate includes CareFirst Blue Cross-Blue Shield, Mountain State Blue Cross, Highmark Blue Cross, Anthem, Aetna, Independent Blue Cross, Federal Blue Cross. The public plans presently accepted are Medicare, Railroad Medicare and Tricar.

We accept all major credit cards for payment for services.
